"The dim forest was very still. No wind shook the leaves, only midges made a buzzing noise in the humid air. A wild pig lay resting in the shade, moisture condensing on its tough bristles. A soft blue glow began to emanate from the bushes. The pig snorted and rose, shaking droplets from the wide leaves like a rain of sequins. The blue glow was brighter now, and a small orange spotted leaf appeared and shook enticingly at the pig. It snuffled, but the leaf was whisked away into the bush. The pig squealed in irritation and followed it. The light dimmed. The screams of the pig set birds cawing and flapping from the canopy into the sweltering air."
This is sort of a redo/ colouring of an older peice. This is the original- [link]
I took elements from a baboon, snake, eagle and peacock. It took roughly 5-6 hours all up. I had a lot of fun with the background, for one one of my first tries! It's a different sort of dragony thing for me.
